Top picks from L'oreal

Hi guys.
So I've picked up few products from L'oreal recently, so I thought I'd review them. :)

True match foundation
I've wanted this foundation for ages, but I always bought something different instead, for some reason. But I finally managed myself to buy it and I don't regret it at all!
It has lovely smooth, creamy, light to medium coverage (depends on how much you use), and it feels so good on the skin. It also did cover most of my blemishes and I don't find flaking around my T-zone. I got the shade 1R1C and i love how it matches my skin tone. I think the shade range is quite good for a high-street foundation, there are many shades available so it's quite easy to find one that suits you.
So I would highly recommend this foundation.

True Match Le Blush
has a soft power formula that's impressively pigmented. I have the 145 rose shade and I love the colour as it's great for everyday use and it's not matte but there's no visible shimmer either. And it stayed on for more than 6 hours. I'm impressed.
So I'm surely going to buy more shades.

Color Riche, J Lo's Nude lipstick
(By Jennifer Lopez)
I'm in love with the warm pinky nude colour. It's not really pigmented, but the formulation feels smooth and moisturizing. I think it's amazing for simple everyday look.

What are your favourite products from L'oreal? :)

2015 Favourites

Hello everybody!
So in today's post I'm going to show you some beauty products and some other thing that I loved using through the past year. There are way too many products that I've been loving but it would take forever to show you all of them, so I've chosen few that I think are just most exiting.

The first beauty product that I can not stop using is the Naked Palette 2 from Urban Decay. It's been my favourite eyeshadow palette since I got it, and I've been using it all the time in 2015.
The shadows are just stunning! The pigmentation is insane and the colours are so beautiful, and it's also great for evrday use.

Next I've got 2 of my favourite blushes, and the first one is from Gosh and its called 36 Rose Whisper. It's such a lovely natural blush, amazing for everyday use, and also quite pigmented. But as you can see it's almost gone, so I definitely need to buy a new one.

And the second one is this cute pinky blush from Max Factor, although I just got it for Christmas, I can say that it's my favourite as I've been using it every single day since Christmas haha.

Both of them are amazing high street blushes that I would definitely recommend you to try.

Than I have 3 favourite mascaras.
The first one is called Extra 3D Lash from Rimmel London and its definitely my favourite drugstore mascara! It perfectly curls and volumises my lashes and it definitely wasn't expensive as its from drugstore, but I'm not exactly sure how much was it for as it was a gift. I'm so impressed of the quality.

The second one is They're Real mascara from Benefit, and I was wearing it more or less every single day in 2015. One of the best mascaras I've ever tried! I only have the mini version, but it comes with lots of product inside as I got it for Christmas in 2014, and it was gone in November 2015. So it basically lasted one whole year! Also the writing has completely come off mine, as you can see I've been obsessed with it.

And the third one is (obviously) the Roller Lash mascara from Benefit. It's my current favourite mascara and  honestly, Benefit is my favourite makeup brand, they have amazing products!
And this mascara is just stunning!

Than I've got 2 foundations to show you.
The first one is the Healthy Mix foundation from Bourjois that I've been talking about a lot as its my favourite foundation at the moment. It is amazing for the winter time because the coverage is amazing but it's quite heavy, but not too heavy. Unfortunately it definitely doesn't last for promised 16 hours but I still love it because it looks good on my skin.

And the secon foundation is actually not a foundation, but it's a Tinded Moisturizer from elf. It's so good for the summer time as the coverage is quite light, I honestly didn't feel that I was wearing any foundation. It has SPF 20 which is really important in the summer. Plus it contains vitamins A,C and E.

Next moving to my favourite lip products, and I want to make it quick, so my favourite lipstick is from MAC, and I bet you've heard me talking about it before cause I mention it like all the time on my blog. Honestly MAC lipsticks are just flawless so I have nothing more to say.

And the second product is this super moisturizing lip balm from Carmex. And honestly this is the only lip balm that actually moisturises my lips. I used to have really chapped lips and this really helped. Plus it's really inexpensive, but I'm not sure how much was it exactly as I got it last summer in London, but I believe it was just few pounds.

And my last favourite product from the beuaty section is this cleanser from Neutrogena. I've been using it every evening to clean my face and my skin always feels so fresh and clean for some reason. It also smells like a grapefruit and I love that! Neutrogena is definitely my favourite brand when it comes to skin care.

And let's finally move to the random section.
First of all, I would like to show you 2 books that are just really good.
So the 1st one is called Love Tanya by Tanya Burr and she's one of my favourite youtubers, and this book is just awesome.
I really enjoyed reading about her chilhood and becoming a YouTuber. But the most exciting parts were the ones about makeup, fashion, baking, etc. There are lots of other interesting categories, and I'd definitely recommend this book.

And the second book is called The Glam Guide by Fleur De Force, and I got it for Christmas, and some of you wanted me to write a review on it, so I thought I'd include it here.
Honestly it's my favourite book at the moment, so I want to thank my cousin for getting me it.
Basically, it's pretty similar to Tanya's book, but I prefer this one as it has more categories, and things are described in more detail.
It has lots of sections such as makeup section, fashion section, than helth & fitness, hair, travel, life&love section, blogging and YouTube section, etc.
You can learn lots of new, interesting things from the book.
And i absolutely adore the design inside the book, I think it's just super cute.

I found it really interesting to read so if you're into these stuff I would recommend you to get this book.:)

And lastly let's move to the music part. I thought I'd share some of my favourite music with you.
I've been loving lots of songs and albums through 2015.
But my favourite album is definitely X by Ed Sheeran, he's also my favourite singer. It's amazing album and each song is awesome! So I'd definitely say it's my 2015 favourite.
But I've also been loving Made In The AM by One Direction, as you might know I'm a big fan of them, and this album is just perfect!

But if you want to see other song that I've been loving recently, you can chcek out my playlist on spotify here. :)

So those were my 2015 favourites. Hope you enjoyed reading :)

My Favourite Fashion Items In My Wardrobe

Hi guys! So I thought I'd finally do a fashion related post, because I never do any.

I think everyone has those pieces in their wardrobe that just can't stop wearing.
So I thought I'd show you mine.

Stripy tops
I'm a huge fan of stripes, as they always look so classy and go with mostly anything I own.

I should probably ban myself from buying any more stripy pieces as I have about 7 of them haha But those 2 on the picture above, are my favourite ones.
The one on the left is from H&M and one on the right is from Bershka.

Cropped tops
I absolutely love wearing cropped tops! They're awesome for the summer.
Here are my favourite ones:

Skirts
I prefer skirts over jeans, and I wear skirts as much as I can in the summer, and I would wear them all the time in the winter, if it wasn't cold.
I think skirts take a really important part in my wardrobe.
/from left to right/
Bershka, H&M and H&M

I'm also in love with this denim skirt that I got in November last year, and I honestly can't wait to wear it.

Jumpers
I love jumpers in the autumn/winter time. They're really cozy, and warm, and you can wear them with any jeans or skirt.

Scarfs
I can't imagine a winter without scarfs, literally. They're one of the reasons why I love autumn/winter fashion. Scarf really can make an outfit, and they're definitely one of my favourite items in my wardrobe.
/from left to right/
H&M, I don't know it was a gift, Primark.

Random  Tops
I've just realised that most of my clothes are in white, grey, or black colour, but I also love coloured t-shirts and I've got few that I'm in love with.

The first one is actually my favourite top at the moment. I just love the colour, red's my favourite colour anyway, and it's cropped and the material is so good. And I got it in New Look.

This light pink turtleneck is also one of my favourite pieces. It's from Primark and I'm in love with the colour, and it's just perfect for the winter.

The third t-shirt isn't really coloured but I just wanted to show you because it's just so cute, and I got it in Clockhouse.

And the last item is this cropped yellow-orange top, that I loved wearing last autumn. I think the colour is perfect for the autumnal time. And i bought it in H&M.

And at the end I would like to show you some of my favourite outfits including the items above.:)

My Everyday Makeup / winter edition

Hi guys! So I thought I would share my everyday makeup with you.
I think my everyday makeup is really simple, I often don't wear any eyeshadow or eyeliner. Sometimes I just go for concealer and lip balm, if I have no time.
But those are basically the makeup products that I use more or less daily:

Primer: for the primer I've been using my all time favourite the Pore fessional primer from benefit. It minimalizes the appearance of the pores amazingly I think.

Foundation: for the foundation I've been loving the Helthy Mix from Bourjois recently, as it has a great coverage and i love the formulation but it doesn't have SPF which is bad but it's not necessarily especially in the winter.

Blush: I've been loving the Max Factor creme puff blush /15 seductive pink/ in such a beautiful rosy-pink shade and the coverage is medium, which is great because I don't like heavy or too light blushes. I would definitely recommend you to try it out as it's my favourite drug store blush.

Eyes: I often don't use anything for my eyes but when I do, it's usually my favourite liquid liner from Maybeline.
It's really easy to apply and stays on for quite long too.

Eyelashes: I've been using the Roller Lash mascara from benefit, and I have mention it billion times already, I know, but it has just been my favourite mascara. It's stunning!

Lips: and lastly for my lips I've been using the Revlon lip butter /Peach Parfait/ a lot recently as it's been my favourite but honestly I wear a different lipstick every day.

Milk Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Hi guys!
So today, I though I'd share my favourite recipe with you all.
Whether I'm hungry or bored I love to bake, and one of my favourite recipes are chocolate cookies as it's quite easy and quick.

So you will need:
- 400g butter
- 450g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 650g self-raising flour
an optional amount of milk (if needed)
- 200g milk chocolate

First start off by whisking the butter and sugar together until it's pale and creemy.

Than crack in the eggs and mix it through.

Gradually add the flour by popping in a bit at time until it's mixed in.
Break up the chocolate into small or big (optional) chunks and add them to the mixure.

Pre-heat your own to 200C and cover your tray with greaseproof paper. Than shape the mixure into balls unsing your hands and put them on a baking tray.

Bake them for about 10 minutes.
Than leave them on the baking tray to cool for few minutes.

Now they're completely done and ready to eat.

7 Beauty New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year! I hope 2016 is off to an amazing start for you all!:)
I think New Year is the perfect time to have a little fresh start, although I think if you want to change, you don't need a New Year to do it.
But I wanted to write down some New Years resolutions (as I always do)
And I thought of some beauty resolutions that I would like to stick to this year.
Even thought you might not follow them, I think it's a good idea to share it with you, maybe you have similar beauty resolutions as i do. One never knows :)

1. Drink more water

I know many people say this for their new years resolutions, and I'm sure you're tired of hearing people say this, but it's really important and definitely something I need to work torwards.
Drinking water keeps your skin properly hydrated and it basically can improve your skin a lot.

2. Proper skincare routine

One of my biggest and probably hardest beauty resolution this year, is to have a proper skincare routine and stick to it. I often get into a routine and than I get lazy after couple of days and I skip some steps, but now I'm determined to find what actually works for my skin and be consistent.

3. Clean my makeup brushes weekly

This is something I really need to work on, because I always forget or have no time to do this but it's important not to miss this step as a lot of bacteria can build up in your brushes. I actually quite enjoy cleaning them, I just have to make sure I clean them every week and never skip it.

4. Try new makeup looks

I'm someone who always get stuck with one makeup look that suits me, but than I don't try anything new, and I bet there are many colours in my eyeshadow palette that I've never touched before. Honestly I'm very basic with my everyday makeup, I only wear quite natural/nude colours on my daily basics, so I really need to dare to wear some different looks.

5. Get rid of products I don't use
There are bunch of products that don't work for me, or I've basically found a better product and I haven't worn the old one for ages, but I still keep it in my makeup drawer.
But also different makeup products have specific expiry dates as products simply break down or drie up.
So I think it's the right time to get rid of those products.

6. Get more sleep
Sleep is so important, and we all know that, but it's something I really struggle with.
I often find myself looking at screens about 3am, which is terrible I know.
So I'm going to try to go to bed earlier this year, and it should in turn help my body and mind. Can't wait to see the results.

7. Eat healthier

I'm not sure if this is a beauty resolution, but I thought I'd mention it here because it has a lot in common with beauty I think.
But I'm horrible when it comes to healthy eating, I will eat as much chocolate as I want and I will not feel guilty at all.
I of course won't cut out sweets, but I'd like to eat less sweets and try to eat more healthy food. Wish me luck haha

So those were probably all the beauty related resolutions that I made this year.
Have you made any? Let me know down in the comments, I'd like to know :)

How to choose the right foundation

Finding the perfect match can take lots of time, and it might be quite tricky for those who are new to makeup.
So I thought I'd write down some tips for people who never can find an ideal match, or are new to makeup and don't know how to shop for foundation.

Formulation
When looking for your perfect base, finding the right formulation can be as important as the correct shade.
If you have oily skin, look for formulas that are oil-free.
If your skin is dry, you should look for moisture-rich formulas.
And if you have normal or combination skin, you can decide what finish you like the look of the most and go from there.
I also recommend to try the formula out with your fingers, as you'll be able to feel the texture.

Shade
First of all you should find out if you have warm (yellow), cool (pink) or neutral undertone of your skin.
If you are warm, the veins on your wrist appear green, and you quickly darken in the sun, so look for a foundation that has golden or yellow base.
If you're cool, the veins on your inner wrist appear blue, and you burn easily, you should look for a foundation that has redder or blue base.
And if you're neutral, you've got an equal number of blue and green vines. You're also one of the lucky ones that can wear basically any foundation.

Tip: Testing foundation on the back of your hand won't give you the perfect match, as your hands are usually a few shades darker than your face.
And if you're not sure about the shade in the shop, try to get some sample. This is the best way to give foundation a proper trial run before you invest.

Shopping online for foundation is very risky, so avoid this at all costs unless you already know your shade.

Coverage
Most people tend to go for a lighter foundation in the summer and a higher-coverage foundation in the winter.
But type of coverage is usually down to personal preference.
Those who are just starting with makeup, usually prefer light/more natural coverage. BB-creams or tinted moisturisers are great.

Products:
If you don't want to spend much money on foundation, there are many flawless foundations from high-street makeup. I  would recommend Maybeline, Rimmel or Bourjois.
But if you want to invest into a really good quality foundation, I'd go for Benefit, Nars or MAC.
