Brand Focus - Maybelline

Hello everyone!
So I thought I would do a brand focus post today, so I'm going to focus on a certain brand, and review my favourite products. And this time my focus is on Maybelline.
Maybelline is one of my favourite high-street brands, that I've been using for ages.
I love most of their products as they're all affordable and good quality. So it was pretty difficult for me to choose my favourite ones.
But let's finally get started.

Dream Pure BB Cream is definitely my favourite product from Maybelline. It was the first foundation I purchased when I was just starting with makeup, but I still keep going back to it in the summer. The coverage is quite light-weight, and the creamy gel texture absorbs easily into my skin. I also find the texture quite hydrating. And It's good for oily skin, even through I have a combination skin, I love it, and it's definitely my favourite BB-cram.

Baby Skin primer is the best drugstore primer I've ever purchased. It's like a cheaper version of the The PoreFessional primer.
It will help erase your pore appearance and it will help you to give your a smoother finish.

The Lash Sensational mascara
is without doubt one of my favourite mascaras from all. It makes my lashes absolutely huge and adequately separated. I love the fabulous volume and length it gives to my lashes. Despite its wet texture, it still holds up throughout a day.

Color tattoos
I only own 2 of them and one is the 65-Pink Gold and another one is in the 05-Eternal Gold colour. They have lovely, creamy consistency which is also easy to apply, and don't crease at all. Maybelline  says they last for 24 hours, but does anyone really wear eyeshadows for 24 hours? Although I think they last for really really long time.
I'll definitely have to purchase more of them as they're completely amazing.

Baby Lips
I can not imagine my life without baby lips. I honestly use them all the time.  I think I'm quite obsessed.
They all smells incredibly nice and also hydrate my lips pretty well.
Anyway my favourite ones are Peach Kiss - my favourite nude colour, Cherry Me - I love the smell, Pink Me Up - such a gorgeous light pink shade, Sweet Apple - great for the Christmas time, and of course Hydrate - the original one, that has no colour but hydrates my lips amazingly.

So that is everything for today's post. Hope you liked it and let me know which Maybelline products are your favourite? :)

February Favourites

Hi guys. I'm back!
I haven't been active that much this month, as I've been really busy with school and stuff. And basically I haven't tried many new products out this month so I wasn't sure whether to write this post or not, but I've chosen few things that I've been loving in February so i thought I'd show you.

Love x Style x Love book by Garance Dore
I've been really into fashion/lifestyle books lately, and this one is definitely my favourite right now. It's really positive, shiny and great if you're looking for an inspiration. And I absolutely love the design of the book, it's gorgeous.

True Match Foundation from L'Oreal
I have talked about this foundation on my blog before, so if you want to, you can check out the full review here.
But I've been loving this foundation since I bought it, as it feels so good on the skin and matches my skin tone perfectly. I've been wearing it literally every day since then.

Sleek blush by 3 palette in Santa Marina
I've been absolutely loving the shades in this palette, as they're really really pigmented and long-lasting. It features 3 shades: Coral Dune, Phoenix Sand, and Calypso Island which is my favourite one.
All of them are really pretty, great quality, and seriously unexpensive.

Milani illuminating face powder
Shade: beauty's touch
First of all I'm in love with the design, it's the cutest makeup product I've ever seen.
This powder gives a pretty pink sheen to the skin, it blends so easily, but the pigmentation isn't any good.
It lastes about 5 hours, which is fine.
I like this product very much, so I'm probably going to try out more products from Milani.

That is all for today's short blogpost, so hope you enjoyed reading and see you next time. :)

My Skincare Routine

Hello guys. :) So I finally decided to do skin care routine post.

First of all I have to say, that everyone's skin is different, and what works for me, might not work for you, so bear that in mind.:)

And this is the current set of products that I have been using for my nighttime skincare routine. (All the products are from drugstore)

Removing my makeup
Before actually removing my makeup I tend to use wet wipes, they not only remove a bit of my makeup but are also really refreshing and smell so good. I'm using this ones that I got in Austria last year, and there are only few left, and that makes me really sad.

As my eyes are quite sensitive, I use the Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover to remove my eye makeup. It just has this lovely formula that feels so good on the skin and just removes so easily. I would definitely recommend it if you've got a sensitive skin.
And to remove my actual makeup I use the Garnier Micellar Water. I've been using it for ages, literally. It easily removes makeup without having to scrub at your skin, which is great.

Cleanser
When my makeup is all gone, I use the Visibly Clear cream wash from Neutrogena. I love the formula, it's really refreshing and it smells like grapefruit. It eliminates oil in the oily ares, and my skin always feels so fresh after using it.

Toner
A toner is a liquid that delivers beneficial ingredients directly onto the skin after cleansing. This is a step many people skip, but I think it's quite important plus it makes your skin feel so smooth, soft and clear.

I use the Control Shine Toner from Nivea.
It's formulated specifically for oily skin, but as I have got combination skin, I use it only on my T-zone. And it smells amazing!

Moisturiser
I've been using the Oil-free Moisturiser from Neutrogena lately. It applies really well and it has such a nice scent. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised without feeling greasy.

So that was my skincare routine. Hope you enjoyed reading, and comment below what products are you using for your skincare routine.
See you next time. :)

Get Ready With Me: Valentine's Day // collab

Hi guys!
The Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I thought I would show you some ideas for makeup, hair and outfit you can wear whether you're going on a date or just a night out with your friends.
Also it is a collab with seven amazing girl, and they're also doing Valentine's Day posts, so I'll link that at the end of the post, make sure you check them out. :)

MAKEUP
So I'm starting off with a primer because I want my makeup to stay all night long, and I'm using the Baby Skin primer from Maybelline.
Than I'm applying the L'oreal True Match foundation, which is my favourite at the moment, and it also stays on for very long time.
Next I'm using Maybelline Affinitone concealer underneath my eyes to cover up dark circles or any blemishes.
Than I'm just gonna use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder to make sure my concealer and foundation stay in place. (the writing has completely come of mine, but it is the stay matte powder, trust me, haha)
Now I'm using the Blush By 3 Palette from Sleek makeup, to bring back some colour into my face. This is actually a new product to my collection.
For my eyes I'm taking the Makeup Revolution palette and taking the second eyeshadow from left, which is a light pinky and shimmery colour, and I'm applying it all over my lids.  And now I'm just taking a darker brown shadow, and applying it all over my crease.
Now I'm going to give my eyes winds using the liquid eyeliner from Maybelline.
And lastly for my eyes I'm using the Roller Lash mascara to give them a volume. (You can also go for false eyelashes as its a special occasion, but I'm not a huge fan of them)
Now it's time for my lips and I'm using the Red Matte Lipstick from NYX to get the perfect Valentine's Day look.
And now we're all done with the makeup.

HAIR
So for my hair I'm going to do some wavy curls as it seems perfect for Valentine's Day.
So when I'm done with the curls, I'm just gonna use some hair spray to keep them in place. Than I'm going to section off the top of my hair and make a ponytail. Once you have that ponytail, you twist your hair into a bun, than use a clear elastic band and if some hair is sticking out too much, just take some bobby pins and just push them in. It should last for quite longer than.

OUTFIT
The dress: H&M
 The jacket: Bershka
 The shoes: H&M I believe
